Gloucestershire Media Group: Before we get started, how do you like your tea?

Excelsior Events: Unfortunately, I’m not a tea drinker but coffee is always welcome.

GMG: So, tell us what Excelsior Events is all about…

EE: Excelsior Events is decoration service that allows engaged couples to find all the items they need to decorate their wedding reception in one place.

GMG: Where did it all begin?

EE: I shadowed one of the largest wedding suppliers in the country for over a year. Initially intending to use my observations for a case study but found myself heavily intrigued by it all and studying the latest innovations in wedding decor. So when a friend was getting married, I put my knowledge to good use and decide to establish a wedding decoration service with a difference.

GMG:How are things going? Do you have any news?

EE: Things are progressing well. I am currently in the process of putting together our first catalogue of services and there are some items in there which are sure to make weddings in Gloucestershire the envy of other counties.

GMG: What does the future hold for you and the team at Excelsior Events?

EE: In the short term the plan is to make Excelsior’s range of services known locally for the high standards set for each celebration and to be the venue dressing company of choice for couples with an eye for detail.

GMG: Is there anything else we should know about? Anything you’d like to plug?

EE: Yes please. For a limited time only, chair covers will be available to order for only £2.50 including coloured bows to accompany them, fitting and delivery.
