Short Script Competition

Cordial AV, Viewfinder and The GMG have teamed together to create The Citizen Screen Test which is open to all Gloucestershire based Citizen/Echo readers and is essentially a short script competition – the prize being Cordials pre, production and post facilities to make the script a reality. The winning film will automatically be screened as a part of the professional Category screening on Wed 28th March 2007 at Cineworld, The Brewery in Cheltenham.

The third Viewfinder Film Festival will be taking place in Gloucestershire, Hereford and Worcestershire between 19-31st March 2007 and will be a fortnight celebrating great cinema, with screenings and events taking place at a range of venues across the three counties. The programme for 2007 will include screenings of shorts, animations, experimental film and documentaries. There will also be a number of seminars and workshops.

GMG has created a relationship with the lovely folk at Cineworld at The Brewery in Cheltenham who have agreed to a GMG/Viewfinder "Local Films Show and Tell" type screening on the 2nd Tuesday of every month to begin in November. The idea if for local Gloucestershire films to be screened to fellow GMG filmmakers, a public and invited audience with a chance of Q&A with the Writer/Director/Crew after the screenings – this is open to all shorts, experimental, documentary and feature films.
