Theatre Without Walls was founded in 2002 by directors Jason Maher & Genevieve Swift. We work in five sectors- live events, training, media production, community/education.

We consult for international, national and local charities, blue chip companies and small businesses, councils, broadcasters, museums, theatres, arts centres, festivals, schools and community organisations. Our clients include BBC, The Prince’s Trust, RHS, Everyman Theatre, National Museums, National Trust, Apollo Cinemas, ITV, County Councils, and Government Departments.

Theatre Without Walls practitioners are members of Equity, fully PPL insured to £10million throughout Europe and hold enhanced CRB Disclosure’s (Police checks). Everything we do is fully risk assessed and everything we do can be adapted to be accessible for everybody whatever their age, ability or social/ethnic background.

We can work to your budget or generate a quote based on your brief in Euros or UK Pounds/Stirling. Our fees are highly competitive and we are happy to match any reasonable quote. Commercial and corporate contracts are charged in line with industry standards with fees between £300-£900 per day per consultant depending on their specialism. Generally community/charity projects are costed at 50% our normal fees and usually between £150-£250 per day per practitioner with any other production expenses charged at cost. Wherever possible we work within your existing infrastructure to avoid duplicating managment tasks, administration and technical elements of productions.
