Neon Play is a mobile games studio, set up by Oli Christie, ex-creative director of InboxDMG.

We are based in the middle of lovely Cirencester and we’re going to be making iPhone games and apps.

We have three routes to launch apps:

1. We build our own apps and launch them under the Neon Play name.
2. We work as an outsource studio to agencies, but don’t work directly with clients
3. We work with licensed properties on a revenue share model.

But whichever route we go down, we’ll make sure the apps are beautiful to look at and perfect to play.

Oli Christie

Managing Director
Oli is one of the most experienced digital creative directors in the UK, which is why he’s going a bit grey. He spent six years as creative director of InboxDMG working for clients such as Procter & Gamble, United Biscuits, Panasonic, Nestle and 3M Post-it. He’s launched over 200 viral games in the last ten years, winning over 20 awards. Plus, he’s judged numerous industry awards, including the D&AD Awards three times.

Mark Allen

Technical Director
Mark is a bit of a wizard really. While most of us were playing with our Action Men, Mark made his first game aged 8. And since then, he’s been programming for x, y and z. He’s worked at Acclaim Games in Cheltenham and then spent five years as an executive producer and technical director at Midway in the USA. He’s made over 50 PlayStation, XBox, Wii, Nintendo DS and GameCube games and he’s now driving the engine room of the good ship Neon Play.
