Have you ever dreamed of becoming an Interior Decorator? Monica Lenore Designs presents this year’s first 4 part design workshop titled, “Design Room Makeover, Be the Designer and the Client.”

Classes will be held each Wednesday in May on the 4th, 11, 18th and 25th. You have the choice of two classes either 10:00am – 12:00 pm OR 5:30-7:30pm.

The aim of the series is to provide you with design techniques and advice allowing you to makeover an existing room in your own home. There will be hands-on practical experience and loads of fabric, wallpaper and flooring samples as well as access to ‘insider’ trade resources for you to create a personalised mood board.

With our guidance, you will learn how to design a room layout, choose the right furniture, arrange wall hangings, stick to a budget, mix and match patterns and colour, organise and declutter, plus much more. There is a twist to this workshop however, as you become the ‘Designer’ and the ‘Client.’

You will leave the class with a better understanding of basic design principles, providing you with the confidence to create a ‘Wow’ factor room in your own home. Your take-home mood board will continue to provide you with design inspiration helping to direct and guide you to make a significant change in your home.
