Painting Competitions.

Adults £50 prize (entry fee £5)

Children £20 prize (entry fee £2)

The theme for the contest is ‘Special’, we encourage artists to enter new works that reflect this theme but we will accept all works that have not previously been exhibited elsewhere.

Please complete attached entry form in advance and submit finished work ready to hang by no later than Thursday 6th May.

6.45pm Auction of paintings by Children and local Artists.

The evening is a fund raising event in aid of Hop Skip and Jump, Registered Charity No: 1088173, a play centre for children with special needs and life threatening conditions.

There will be an auction of work by children who use the centre and of paintings donated by local artists.

The Gallery. Cinderford.

The Gallery offers facilities to professional and amateur Artists to exhibit their work and hold workshops and demonstrations.

We will have a comprehensive programme of Art and Drama classes both within The Gallery and out in the community.

Standard Membership.

This entitles Artists to exhibit up to two pieces of original work on two occasions throughout the year for a one month period and one at Christmas for a six week period. Standard Membership costs £35 PA

Each month there will be a juried competition with the top thirty winners being exhibited and the top three artists occupying the prime position for that month.

There will usually be a small entry fee to provide for a cash prize.

Premiere Membership.

Premiere members are entitled to exhibit up to four pieces of original work and professional prints of any of their work. They will be included in the Artists Album, kept in store with examples of Members work, any classes, workshops or services they offer and their contact details.

Premiere members will benefit from many extras, inclusion on the website and all promotional material, plus staff at The Gallery will actively promote Premiere Members both within the gallery and at Art Festivals and Art and Craft fares across the country throughout the year. Premiere members can use the gallery space for special events, demonstrations, workshops and classes free of charge during normal opening hours.

Premiere Membership costs £100 PA

As a promotional offer membership will last for 18 months for the price of 12.

The Gallery also offers

Acting Classes for Adults.

A six week course introducing you to the world of acting using a combination of drama and improvisation.

The course is designed to stimulate the imagination, build self confidence, self esteem and promote self discipline as an actor.

Classes are on Fridays 6:30pm to 8:30pm and you should wear loose comfortable clothing.

The six week course costs £30 per person or £6 per session.

Acting Classes for Children.

We offer acting classes for children both in-house and out in the community, that are designed to stimulate imagination, build self confidence, self esteem and teach discipline and team work.

After School Club

Wednesday to Friday 3:15 to 5:15

Varied activities including art and drama for Children 6-11yrs

A light snack provided.

All staff are NVQ trained and CRB checked.

COST £2.50 per child per session
