07.00PM - 08:30PM | Free
All Your Life Building
SocialPR is a casual evening for communications and digital professionals to discuss and debate the value and effectiveness of traditional and social media.
This event has not only been created for a networking opportunity and for people in the industry to develop their ideas about the different types of media, but is also going to be used for research for a public relation’s student dissertation.
There will also be talks in the e…vening about different communications areas from various professionals in the industry. Speakers confirmed are:
- Alex Sass, Renegade Media ( @socialmediasass )
- Jonathan Pollinger, Intranet Future ( @jonnop )
- David Phillips, Publicasity ( @DavidGHPhillips )
A few things to think about before attending this event, as there will be a debate at the end of the evening:
- What are the similarites and differences between social media (including blogging) and traditional media?
- Why are bloggers and journalists different?
- In what circumstances is it more effective to use social media or traditional media in communications campaigns?
Entry is free. Refreshments available.
Guests must RSVP to
