Encounters Bristol International Film Festival is pleased to announce that it will be touring a series of three FREE outdoor solar powered short film screenings in Bristol this September.

Encounters, Bristol’s annual festival of short films and all things animated, will be presenting a unique opportunity to see a special programme of short films and animations specifically selected from over 1750 submissions to suit all the family.

Last year, Encounters brought the colourful deckchairs and solar powered cinema to parks around Bristol. Local communities came in their hundreds equipped with a blanket, family and friends to enjoy a mini short film festival under the stars. Encounters is delighted to be working with the Bristol City Council again to take the festival out to local communities and provide a taste of what the Encounters festival brings to Bristol and to a wider audience.
