* He’s appeared on stage and rubbed shoulders with musical royalty. Now Michael Eavis is giving Creative Bath members an ultra-rare opportunity to hear about his inspiration for the Glastonbury Festival and how – after 40 years at the top – he keeps it fresh and exciting.

As any creative entrepreneur knows, coming up with the idea is just the start of the process. For a creative project to have staying power, that original idea needs to be constantly tweaked, tended and polished so that it retains its magic and its appeal. So, is it the line-up, is it the unpredictable weather or is there some other secret ingredient that makes the Glastonbury Festival the undisputed king of the music calendar.

Having found his inspiration at the Bath Blues festival way back in the sixties, it seems fitting that Michael Eavis is returning to Bath for this event to reveal the secret of his enduring creativity.
