No Description What word best describes a multitude of top international film and TV awards all given to one Stroud film company in the last year? A cluster of awards? A mountain? A hamper? A harvest ? A groaning shelf? A flock? A ton? It’s something that Stroud based producers David Pearson and Elizabeth Morgan Hemlock of Arturi Films are considering today. David’s solution? “Maybe it’s best to call them: a pride”.

Last night at a glamorous evening for the West of England Awards in Bristol they won a Royal Television Society Award for Best Documentary for Mugabe and The White African, their gripping cinema film about a farming family seeking justice from violent attacks by thugs from Zimbabwe’s Robert Mugabe’s own political party. Arturi Film’s feature film is an Arturi Films Production in association with Explore Films, Molinare Productions and the Film Agency for Wales and is currently on DVD release in the UK, US and France, following a successful cinema release in all three and TV showing on Channel 4.

Congratulations to Arturi Films for their success from all at the GMG.
