With the first Cheltenham Film Festival only days away (October 1st) Martin Pilkington, Business Director wanted to thank all those who supported the festival.

The Millennium trilogy will be back to back on the Friday evening in the Town Hall climaxing in the preview screening of ‘*The Girl Who Kicked the Hornets Nest’* which you can see before anyone else. There is also the preview screening of ‘Red Hill’, an explosive western set in Australia.

There are cult favourites such as* ‘The Big Lebowski’, ‘2001: a Space Odyssey’, *’Alien’, ‘Easy Rider’ and more. Family favourites including the classic Disney animation ‘Alice in Wonderland’, ‘Happy Feet’, ‘Who Framed Roger Rabbit’ *and *’Bedknobs and Broomsticks’.

Classic restored British films courtesy of the BFI including ‘Dracula’, ‘Great Expectations’, ‘The Passionate Friends’ *and a very special screening of *’A Cottage on Dartmoor’ and *’A Throw of Dice’ *with live accompaniment from World renowned pianist Stephen Horne, a rare treat.

Arrow films have curated our World Cinema screen where you’ll find delights from around the world, old and new, including ‘Departures’, ‘Battle Royale’, ‘The Exterminating Angels’ and a zombie double bill on the Saturday night.
