Business Link are looking to recruit a broker to help to grow the Creative Industries in the South West through the iNet programme, brokering targeted support and business solutions for businesses looking to innovate and flourish across the sector.

From advertising to fashion, or television to digital design, the Creative Industries umbrella encompasses a wide range of growing industries. These vital, knowledge-based businesses help drive our country forwards, contributing £60bn – or 7.3% – to the economy every year.
In the South West, this diverse sector employs 36,000 people in nearly 8,000 businesses. But spread across a large geographical area and often operating on a small scale, many creative companies find it hard to access the cutting edge knowledge that helps them to grow, innovate and compete on the global stage.

You will work closely with South West Screen’s dedicated iNet team to put 300+ businesses in touch with the resources they need to develop their products and services.

Applicants should have a good understanding of the challenges and opportunities of working within the Creative Industries as well as exhibiting excellent interpersonal skills and commercial acumen.

Full training in Business Link products and services will be provided.
