Having recently taken over as The new Gloucestershire Media Group Co-ordinator, I am learning more and more about the creative industry, different events and Gloucestershire as a whole.

Last week Pat Roberts (Visual Arts and Media Development Officer) was kind enough to invite me for a tour of The Guild Hall, a beautiful building which is used for many different exciting events and functions, including art exhibitions, music festivals, film viewings, theatre comedy and much more.

I looked at their current art display, I then went on to view the cinema and theatre, as well as the dance studio and other rooms available for hire. This was really useful information to keep hold of for the organising of future GMG events.

With regards to the cinema, there are a wide variety of films showing in October, November and December, click here to read an introduction to each film.

Just to remind you all, GMG Members still receive concessionary rates when booking seats for film viewings, so just quote The GMG at The Box Office and instead of paying the full price of £5.50, you will pay only £4.50! What a bargain!
