UKKO Clothing, run by Nick Hovey has been based at Quays Creative in Gloucester Docks since February 2010, alongside the GMG.
Over the past 6 months UKKO Clothing has increased at such a pace that Nick is now in a position of needing to take on his first employee and is therefore moving onwards and upwards into bigger premises.

The Graduate Challenge Programme (a four month cost free graduate placement) has also been of immense value to Nick, as he has used this scheme to find his new recruit.

Quays Creative is a project which has been set up by the Economic Development Service of Gloucester City Council, Nexus and the GMG in order to support start up and fledgling businesses in the creative sector. It is based in Llanthony Warehouse, Gloucester Docks and currently offers workspaces for 10 businesses.
