Ever pitched an idea and not got the commission? Have a great idea but don’t know where to start with the pitch process? Or perhaps you need a little reassurance that you’re on the right track.

For this event, in association with Anchor: the BBC’s first City Partnership with Bristol, we have a confirmed panel of experts including Andrew Jackson (Head of BBC Natural History Unit), Ben Gale (Head of BBC Bristol Factual) and Harry Marshall (CEO Icon Films). These senior figures within the British TV industry have kindly agreed to share invaluable insights into the dos and critically the don’ts of the pitching process in a relaxed and informal venue followed by a question and answer session.

At a time of strong competition for commissions this is an essential event for anyone serious about getting a broadcast project commissioned and a great networking opportunity.

This event will be held at The Picture House, Whiteladies Road, Bristol on Wednesday 16th June from 6pm for a 6:30pm start. Estimated finish time 8:30pm.

So do join us for the ultimate inside knowledge on the pitching process. Due to limited numbers, we will be operating on a first come first served basis, so please respond as soon as possible with your interest to: Lynda@bristolmedia.co.uk.
