'Creative Quays' launch success
Fledgling businesses in the creative sector are being given the chance to spread their wings in a new office scheme launched on Friday, January 29 at the Gloucester Docks.
Some 60 individuals from the public and private sector attended the launch.
Gloucester City Council economic development staff have secured nearly £38,000 worth of regional funding in partnership with Gloucestershire Collge, the University of Gloucestershire and the GMG to develop the office space.
The ‘incubator project’ – known as Quays Creative – is located within the Nexus facilities and will enable businesses to take short-term lets to help them establish. The space will provide creative businesses with a business address with integrity and a nurturing and innovative environment to help them grow and prosper.
