GMG , South West Screen and North by South West the Skillset Media Academy in Gloucestershire & Witshire are collaborating with Skillset to look at how the research carried out by Universities can be used to enhance the growth and competitiveness of local creative enterprises.

As part of this process we are holding a workshop which will provide businesses with the opportunity to tell Higher Education (HE) what research would be useful to them and how it should be structured in order to maximise benefit to creative businesses. A key element of the workshop will be examples of successful partnerships between HE institutions and businesses and how they have been utilised by a variety of businesses in the region.

The workshop will be held on the 16th of March at GMG’s base within Quays Creative, in Llanthony Warehouse in the Gloucester Docks. This is also a great opportunity to have a sneaky peak at the brand-new office space specifically designed for creative businesses in the county.
