South Gloucestershire Council recently acquired ‘Film Friendly’ status. As part of this development they have launched a Locations Database to make it easier for people to register properties and spaces as available for filming and to make the area more attractive to film-makers through the wide range of locations available.

The locations database is available online and the website is free to use, giving direct contact details for each location, as well as key information to help you decide which locations to use.

South Gloucestershire has a diverse collection of venues that can be used for filming. All kinds of filming have been done in the region, including TV shows, feature films and advertising. Casualty, Skins and Larkrise to Candleford are among filming regulars!
