The GMG are happy to introduce the newest tenant to Quays Creative, Monica Heycock. Monica is currently working on her Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design at the National Design Academy and has recently started her own design firm, Monica Lenore Designs Ltd.

The company is founded on her lifelong passion for colour, texture and beauty. Given her drive to transform both residential and commercial living spaces, Monica offers a bespoke service as well as a highly affordable option. She is keen to keep her service accessible to all believing beautiful space is achievable anywhere with any budget.

Monica’s many contacts within the industry provide her with access to specialized wallpapers, fabrics, flooring and furniture that is not generally available. Monica says “I am not interested in designing a space that is similar to any other, you will not find a feature wall or easily sourced items in any of my designs. I love to mix styles, texture and colour creating a unique space that is personal to you and your family.”

Hosting a series of workshops here at Quays Creative, Monica’s first offering will be a special Christmas workshop starting soon along with a design workshop to help you transform one of your own rooms. So if you have ever dreamed of being a designer or are in need of having expert design advice, be sure to watch out for these upcoming workshops.

Recent exciting news for Monica has been the commissioning of her website. She is hoping to have it live by the end of November.

Monica chose to take the desk at Quays Creative to help grow her business and work with other like minded creative people. Monica quotes “There is an energy that surrounds creative people who are building their own businesses, I wanted to be a part of that.”
