This fund is for established, UK-based network and regional media producers/journalists who want to spend up to three months in a Commonwealth developing country. To be eligible you have to be an established UK-based network and regional media producer/journalist. Individual media journalists may apply to spend up to 3 months in a Commonwealth developing country researching and producing items for transmission/printing in the UK network and regional media. Your application should be accompanied by a letter of interest from your head of department or line manager.
Objectives of the scheme:

• to increase development awareness in the UK
• to improve understanding of development issues and the developing world among UK media professionals
• to research, develop and produce broadcast/print material about these issues for distribution to the UK public via network and regional media.
