On Thursday, 28th May, Chris Tomkins (and team) produced an entertaining evening of stunning short films produced during their second year at the University of Gloucestershire.

GMG representative Holly Thomas attended the screening and described the evening as “100% professionalism. The students should be extremely proud of their achievements for the evening and the work that they have produced over the last year”.

The end of the evening did not disappoint, with an awards ceremony in which the tutors presented engraved glass awards in categories such as Best Sound, Best Director, Most Improved Student and Best Film etc.

The Kristian Weaving Post Production Award in memory of an ‘extremely dedicated student’ was given out by his auntie on behalf of the Weaving family; she explained how proud she and her relatives were of the year group and how pleased she was to have been asked to attend.

The evening ended with the majority of the audience heading to Que Pasa for some well deserved celebratory drinks.
