Creative Boom Creative Boom has been going since summer 2009 and works to support creative individuals, freelancers and businesses of all shapes and sizes. Since then, the site has grown significantly and now gets over 1,000 hits per day. Unlike newspapers, magazines, trade publications and the general press, the site tries to cover everyone, no matter how big or small.

Creative Boom is all about supporting creativity, particularly when times are tough.

Their regional hubs scheme launched last month to allow creatives in each town to promote work from their area. Holly Knowlman has taken on the Cheltenham hub as she feels there are masses of creative talent here that could benefit from some free promotion.

Holly says, “I think there’s so much good stuff happening in our town, it’s great to be be able to provide somewhere online that’s totally devoted to promoting it”.

Holly hopes that Creative Boom Cheltenham will have several functions:
- To celebrate amazing work produced locally
- To profile creative businesses and individuals
- To provide a platform to discuss issues affecting creative here
- To give information about events, exhibitions, resources etc

As well as directing people to the blog, Holly would like to invite you to join the Facebook page.
